WOW, it’s been a busy week since getting back from the NO EXCUSES SUMMIT in Las Vegas!
While I was there I was able to interview Larry Beachum, “The Stone Cold Millionaire” and the king of LinkedIn. Although we were learning a ton things about social networking, blogging, traffic, seo, etc., etc., Larry talks about the importance of this ONE THING if you are going to be able to learn all of these different aspects of internet marketing and be successful.
One of my mentors in the online marketing world is Katie Freiling. She was one of the presenters at the No Excuses Summit in Vegas and her niche is social networking.
She recently posted this quick, 5-minute video on her blog and I wanted to share it with you. ….How you can spend 2 minutes NOW and drive traffic from Google straight to your site 24/7. Cool, huh.
I just got back from Las Vegas a few days ago where I attended the No Excuses Summit, a meeting of all of the best minds in the world of internet marketing including Mike Dillard, Jimmy Davis, Jim Yaghi, Raymond Fong, Ferny Ceballos, Jeff Learner, Norbert Orlewicz, Brian Fanale, Todd Falcone, Jonathan Budd, Cedrick Harris, Todd Falcone, Mark Hoverson, David Schwind, Katie Frieling, Joseph O’Day, and Justin Christianson. These folks are absolute rock stars in their fields and shared an immense amount of information, so much so, I thought my head was going to explode.
The 4th important aspect to understanding keywords is that once you’ve determined relevancy, traffic, and the competitive nature of the keyword, you must be able to determine if that particular word will generate any MONEY for you. After all, conversions is the name of the game, right? You’re trying to build a business and if you had an idea of the potential return on a particular keyword, would that be important to you? Of course it would!
And Market Samurai has that handled for you too. Check out this last training video, then get your copy today by clicking the banner at the lower right and start getting RESULTS!
The 3rd important part to understanding keywords is that once you have relevance and you know how much traffic is generated by them, you next need to know how competitive they are. If you’re targeting keywords that, even after weeks of hard work, you still have a small probability of getting on page 1 of Google organically, then what’s the point. Focus on those that are not as competitive, but still bring you traffic and Market Samurai shows you how to do this. This tool is absolutely awesome.

The 2nd part to understanding keywords is that after you find ones that are relevant to your content, you need keywords that generate a significant amount of traffic.

One of things that most internet marketers don’t understand is the importance of keywords. And for those that do realize the importance, doing the research can be very time consuming.

Yup, it’s Friday again! Yeee Haw! It’s a bit rainy outside, but my local Starbuck’s Friday office is still a bustling place of activity.
So last time I wrote about the need for a system in your network marketing business, or MLM. Let’s dig a bit deeper this week into income vs. non-income producing activities, the necessity of personal development, and consistency.
Income Producing VS. Non-Income Producing Activities
You’ve set your goals, broken them down into smaller ones, developed your plan of action for each day writing your list of to-do’s for the next day every night before bed, committed to getting your TOP 5 done before going to sleep, and eliminated the distractions. Now what are you working on?
I love Fridays! It’s funny, when I was in the grocery business, for over 20 years mind you, I didn’t really care what day of the week it was. Since I worked 6 days out of 7 for about 15 of the 20 years, it didn’t really matter. Weekends would come and go and I wouldn’t miss a beat with my J-O-B. I was dedicated. I truly believed that climbing a corporate ladder and making someone else successful was going to make ME successful. Boy, was I wrong! Sure, I was able to make a good “material” life for my family, but my time didn’t belong to me. So I did something about it and changed my situation. Now I love Fridays, and weekends, and heck every other day too, because if I want to take the day off, I just do. (One of my other blog posts with the video of our visit to the USS Lexington, was done on a Thursday – we just decided to head to the coast mid-week. Cool.)
So why do I love Fridays? Well, obviously the weekend is right around the corner, but Friday is the day that I go to my “other office”, Starbucks. I bring my laptop, drink some Java, meet people, watch personal development videos, research stuff, make phone calls, etc. It’s a time for me to relax, think, plan, and connect with people…..on purpose. Now, I have the 1 or 2 local coffee shops near my house, and I frequent those often, but I like to venture out, look for locations that I haven’t visited and see new people come through the door for their morning addiction.
